Formally trained, Rachael Cook has played roles from classic Australian plays to Shakespeare, working in local theatre productions to small intimate dinner venues, as well as dozens of short films, some written and directed by herself. Rachael is diverse performer and writer and has worked with the likes of John Jarret and Casey Chambers. Her most notable credit was performing in and producing Two Rooms and Time Stands Still in Vancouver Canada. Before moving to Vancouver Rachael had the pleasure of working on the Australian satirical consumer affairs series The Checkout.  After completing a Bachelor of Teaching, Bachelor of Arts Rachael continued her acting training in Canada, where she was mentored by Nadine Write the director of ACT2 an intensive acting technique derived from Stanislavski method. Once moving back to Sydney only two years ago she continued training with Chum Ehelepola and Socratis Otto in developing her audition technique at Sydney Actors Collective. Rachael is interested in working on stage as well as film and tv, she is actively writing and available for booking.
